Account Clerk Job Available in Pittsfield MA

Salary & Schedule: 17/HR Mon – Fri 8:30-4

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Location: Pittsfield


Position Summary:

In this role you will be responsible for managing accounts and providing support for the accounting and finance department.


Responsibilities:

  • Answering accounting questions from vendors and departments and direct to appropriate department
  • Process reimbursements, voided checks, requisitions
  • Assign vendor numbers, maintain schedule of payments
  • Filing
  • Audit invoices/vouchers for accuracy:
  • Verify bills against purchase orders
  • Vendor number and general ledger accounts
  • Process voucher for payment
  • Other duties as needed


Requirements:

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalency
  • Accounting and/or finance experience preferred
  • Data entry 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
