Plant Operator Job Opening in Agawam, MA

Salary Range: $41,600 - $52,000

Schedule: 12 hour rotating schedule

TEC Staffing is recruiting for a Power Plant, that promotes production of sustainable, renewable energy from waste.

Position Summary:

As a Plant Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the uninterrupted safe operation of the facility systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should be positive, assertive, and looking for the opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Identify hazardous areas and initiate problem resolution
• Perform various levels of preventative and routine mechanical maintenance on facility equipment
• Understand and operate all facility process equipment and take corrective action to eliminate process downtime

Requirements:

• Prior experience in operating a Front-End Loader
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior technical training within a power plant or similar industrial environment is a plus
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, crouching, climbing, crawling, 
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50LBS
• Ability to use both hands and operate tools
• 2nd Class Fireman's License
• Hoisting/Hydraulics 2C License
