TEC is recruiting for a Route Supervisor at a local, well-established delivery company. This role supports the organization’s success and is a valuable member of the team. The overall role of this position is to communicate and capitalize on the organizational needs.

Job Description:

• Oversee employees’ performance
• Provide guidance and support to the team
• Identify developmental needs
• Manage relationship between staff and the organization so both are successful
• Collaborate with senior management
• Provide training to all employees on all policies, procedures, paperwork, routes, etc.
• Facilitate communications for trucks and equipment repairs
• Interview and hire new employees
• Required to complete annual performance reviews
• Recommend pay changes based on performance
• Coordinate work hours including scheduling, approving time off requests, tracking absences, timekeeping, manage overtime and other expenses
• Maintains compliance with DOT and OSHA Regulations
• Learn all routes and has the ability to run/assist with routes as needed
• Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate that maximizes employee morale and productivity
• Assist in the warehouse/cooler as needed
• Performs other duties as necessary

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 60 pounds and push/pull 250 pounds
• Ability to climb in and out of the cab and cargo areas of the delivery vehicle REPEATEDLY throughout the day
• Ability to work outdoors throughout the year and tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, be DOT compliant
