Accounting Clerk Temporary Job in Williamstown, MA

Salary: $22/hr

Schedule:  Mon-Fri. 8a-5p (8 hrs within that time range)

Location:  Williamstown, MA


Position Summary

Perform beginning level tasks required in a Finance Department and experience the required tasks that a Non-Profit Finance Department must perform to help keep the Institution operating. 


Major Duties and Responsibilities


  • Collect, reconcile and prepare cash for the Company Store and Admissions Desk.  Provide them with necessary starting cash before 10am.
  • Reconcile Corporate credit card statements to receipts.  Follow up with staff on missing documentation and receipts.
  • Assist with entering A/P invoices into the MIP Accounting system.
  • Weekly filing into the A/P folders.
  • Entering new fiscal year budgets into MIP Accounting System.
  • Scanning of documents into the Finance Drive.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications


Education, Training, and Skills

  • Strong Data Entry Skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook)
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping experience preferred, but not required.
