Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant Job Opening

Temp to Perm

$20-25/hour (depending on experience)

Hours dependent on location


TEC is recruiting for a part-time Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in administrative work and be familiar with bookkeeping tasks. This candidate should be personable, have an eye for detail and look forward to working permanently at this location.


Job Duties:

  1. Preparation and dispatch of sales invoices.
  2. Post cash receipts to the receivables ledger and credit control.
  3. Raising purchase orders, checking vendor invoices to orders and posting to the GL.
  4. Preparation of payment list for approval.
  5. Once approved initiate payment list and post to the payables ledger.
  6. Reconciliation of the bank account and updating of the cash flow forecast model.
  7. Assistance with preparation of month end prepayments and accruals.
  8. General office administrative duties including mail opening, assistance to the sales manager regarding sales order processing, banking checks, liaison with the UK office etc.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field.
  • Associates Degree in related field with proven work experience.
  • Longevity in similar roles.
  • Computer skills and familiarity are required.
