Temporary June-August 2023

Salary: Mon-Thurs:  $20/hr, 3pm – 1:30am; Mon-Fri: $18.50/hr, 6am – 2:45pm

Full-time or Part-time: (part-time requires 20 hours a week).  Hiring for 10 positions.

TEC is recruiting for a Pittsfield company for temporary Warehouse Associates for a 3-month assignment starting in June 2023.  Warehouse Associates provide full-scope of operational support for the distribution activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping order picking, order packing, returns processing, quality control, item put-away, inventory control and general workplace maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to learn and become certified with forklift and order picker equipment.
• Operate stock picker and replenish primary pick locations from backstock locations in tiered racking systems.
• Moving materials and items from receiving to primary and overstock locations as needed.
• Utilize order selecting software to select orders for customers and stage product in packing/shipping locations.
• Opening bales, pallets, boxes, and other containers.
• Recording movement of product in warehouse management system.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Complete assignments with the use of RF equipment as needed.
  

Education, Experience, Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three months or more related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use and understand carrier and company computer shipping, receiving, and replenishment equipment utilizing RF.
• Knowledge of SAP software and Warehouse Management software a plus
• Written and verbal English language skills required.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Must have attention to detail and be able to identify product and quantities accurately.
• The employee must regularly lift, push, pull up to seventy pounds, and occasionally lift, push, and pull more than seventy pounds.
