Maintenance Supervisor – Direct Hire

Salary - $50K-$60K w/ Benefits

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30 (On call hours required)

Position Description

TEC is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor for a large property management company. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for tenants’ requests and will be required to perform hands-on services related to monitoring the interior and exterior components of a 150+ unit apartment complex to ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Preliminary tenant screening/application
• Light carpentry, plumbing, & electrical
• Exterior/interior painting
• Ensure heating and hot water systems are operational
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
• Obtain CPO Pool Operator Certification
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance
• Maintain and monitor work order system
• Monitor work performed by outside vendors
• Oversee/assign work performed by maintenance staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED)
• Ability to read, understand and apply oral and written instructions and labels
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to interact with staff, tenants and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous
• Detail oriented and thorough
• Supervisory experience preferred
• 5+ years of apartment maintenance preferred
• Must have a Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check.
