Behavioral Health Nurse Manager Job Opening

Salary: $75,000 Depending on experience

TEC is recruiting for a Nurse Manager for a local non-profit.

Position Summary:

As the Nurse Manager, there are direct supervisory responsibility over the Client Services RNs. This employee will be responsible for the oversight of the Clinical Assessment and eligibility of service programs and managing a team of nurses. You will be responsible for the evaluation of employees and maintaining productivity of clinical assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Client Service RN’s and provide feedback.
• Ensure all RNs maintain acceptable productivity in the completion and submission of clinical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for existing and new health service programs.
• Act as a liaison for skilled nursing facilities and hospital case managers.
• Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities in the department.
• Oversee data collection and report to appropriate agencies.
• Coordinate and oversee the process of daily interdisciplinary case review. Provide consultation regarding health-related client problems to Client Services personnel.
• Perform Clinical Assessments, Eligibility Screenings, and Personal Care assessments as needed.
• Provide consultation and appropriate training regarding nursing facility screenings and Personal Care to provider agency, hospital, and long-term care facility staff.
• Act as the organization’s liaison with appropriate departments and community partners.
• Maintain thorough understanding of the policies and procedures of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current MA license and a BA or BS in related field.
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective organization and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Willingness to attend meetings throughout Massachusetts
• Valid Driver’s License
